We installed 2 geothermal units in our home and ran into some issues caused by not knowing the history of the home.
Summers worked patiently with us for several months. They then came in, fixed the problem and went over and above to take care of us. Every employee we dealt (there were many) were professional, courteous, personable, caring.and always prompt.

This was our first time for service. The Technician, Brian Dodd was most professional and helpful. Due to a fixture we bought delaying the work the company was most agreeable with coming back to finish at no extra charge. I will recommend and use Summers again. We Have a rental Unit in Columbus In. We had received Coupons and advertisements From Summers over the last few years. The Furnace we had was 30 Years old and had served its purpose however being the penny pinches we are we wanted to get another year out of it. The technician showed us with a scope just what a bad idea that was. It was literally falling apart from within. He explained why fixing it was just not possible and dangerous so we bought a new unit. So glad we did the work was clean and professional. Done right. Very impressed and glad we called Summers. I just want to tell you how much I appreciated your Plumber, Caleb Gluff. I had recently lost my husband and, of course, my water heater went out and needed replaced. Caleb was not only compassionate about my situation he was professional and honest with me. He took the time to explain my options, assisted with the cleanup and installed the water heater and left NO mess.

I was having water heater issues for many months. Being the cheapskate that I am, I didn't want to get a new one if it was still heating the water. It was 12 years old. I would have to reset my water heater every time I needed hot water. I contacted Summers because they had sent a post card for services. Most of them I didn't have such as central air. Alec was my tech and he gave me great info about what was going on. I decided it was best to get a new one.
When my water heater was installed, Alec did an exceptional job. He did a professional job taking everything out, including a water softener, adjusting the new one, hooking it up, then putting the water softener back to make it fit even better in the closet.
I am a very loyal customer when it comes to customer service. I will use Summers again for future needs. I applaud them for doing and expecting great work, and I applaud Alec for his great job in getting things done in a timely and professional manner. - Pete Law
I called for a 2nd opinion about my residential air conditioner, & wished I had called Summers first. They verified what the 1st company said about the repairs needed & even went as far as telling me the price I was quoted was very fair, said the repair sounded right & I should use the 1st company!!! Kirk Hutchinson and Brenton Perrin have both been wonderful. Kirk suggested the humidifier which we really needed with a log home. Brenton went above and beyond as I got locked out of my house and he let me sit and stay warm in his truck while he helped me call a locksmith to get back inside. Yesterday I had my hot water heater and my furnace replaced by Summers Columbus Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling. John installed the water heater. Dalton installed my furnace. All of these guys were a pleasure to be around. These installers were completely professional and wonderful to work with. Please give my thanks and compliments to the guys who worked so hard for me. Even though the furnace installers ran into some difficulty, they remained pleasant and helpful while putting in long hours. Also give my thanks to your management and office team. I had been using Summers yearly maintenance for several years and was very happy with the thoroughness of the work and friendliness of the technicians. I knew that I needed a new HVAC system and was shopping around. While waiting at the deli counter at the market, I met Rick Jenkins, the GM of Summers Columbus and Franklin. I inquired about the HVAC systems Summers offered and explained what had happened on our last service call. He listened to everything I had to say, and said he would call the next day to discuss the last service call. To my surprise, he did. He also put me in touch with Jeremy See, who came to my house and did a thorough analysis of the work I needed to resolve the high humidity issues I had, even though my air conditioner was running. Jeremy listened to my concerns, provided detailed explanations of why I had issues in lay-man terms that anyone could understand, and worked with me to get the best system I could, without breaking the bank. Within a few days, I had a new zoned system, new duct work in the attic and crawlspace, and cool dry air. Everyone arrived on time, kept the house and yard free of debris, cleaned up before they left and were very friendly courteous and not fazed by my dogs' incessant barking. They worked through the day Friday until almost 9pm to ensure that I had heat that night, as it had turned cold outside. They returned Saturday morning to finish up the duct changes. My summertime electric bills for July and August usually ran around $250. This year, both bills were roughly $170 and the house maintained 68 degrees with 50% humidity easily, even with a high humidity, 85 degree outside temperature. The best part is that they answer your calls and questions, even after the installation is complete. I couldn't be happier with my new system, nor with the service/workmanship/customer support from everyone at Summers. I will definitely be a returning customer and have recommended them to many. - Laura W.
